Peter Berry Biography

Peter A. Berry, FSA, MAAA, serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Berry served as Chief Actuary for AvMed, Inc., where he was responsible for managing all staff and activities within the actuarial, underwriting and risk forecasting and management departments. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Mr. Berry received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Richmond.
