CareFirst Acquires Trusted Health Plan in Washington, D.C. and Enters Medicaid Market
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst) has closed on the acquisition of a Washington, D.C. managed Medicaid plan. CareFirst has acquired Trusted Health Plan (Trusted), a managed Medicaid plan serving approximately 35,000 members in Washington, D.C.
