Why CareFirst?

By joining the CareFirst dental network, you join one of the largest dental plans serving one million dental members in the Maryland, D.C. and Northern Virginia region.

We currently offer two methods for application. Providers can apply:

To avoid confusion and unexpected out-of-pocket expenses for members, all providers in the same practice must participate in the same provider networks.

Providers have the right, upon request, to review the information used in credentialing decisions, to correct inaccurate information and to obtain the status of the credentialing process. Requests can be made by calling (443) 921-0676 or by emailing dentalcontracting@carefirst.com.
