Review the Latest Updates to CareFirst’s Dental Provider Manual
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and CareFirst BlueChoice, Inc. (CareFirst) is committed to giving you the tools needed to easily do business with us, so you can focus on giving your patients the best care. To keep you informed of changes and improvements, CareFirst has updated our Dental Provider Manual. Updates were made to the following sections:
- Chapter 2
- Added information about coordinating benefits with FEHBP/BCBS FEP policies
- Chapter 3
- Added new section about providing dental treatment to family members
- Chapter 6
- Added content about the MD Preserve Telehealth Act and the dental benefit guidelines for dental audio only services
- Chapter 7
- Added directional content for oral surgeons regarding LabCorp as CareFirst’s participating lab facility
- Added content about the D.C. Minor Consent for Vaccinations Amendment Act of 2020
