FACETS Migration Continues
May 01, 2009 - Effective May 1, 2009 an additional 65 groups, consisting of approximately 400 members living throughout the CareFirst area, were migrated to the FACETS platform. These members have either BlueChoice or BluePreferred plans, along with some dental and vision coverage. All existing rules for these products still apply.
This includes the requirement that you must use your DC provider number for ALL BlueChoice members, no matter where you send the claims. The next migration will occur June 1. We have provided some information to help you better understand the process.
