Testicular Cancer Email Support Group
http://thetcrc.org/tc-net.html#tc-net
TC-NET is the primary testicular cancer email support group. The list usually has somewhere between 600 and 700 subscribers. Many people on the list have been on it for years, but many others only stay online during the period between diagnosis and the end of treatment. Any topic related to testicular or extragonadal germ cell tumors is welcome, but this list does tend to be slightly more medical and treatment related than the other list. On average, the list might generate 5-10 emails a day.

Testicular Cancer Email Support Group for Caregivers
http://thetcrc.org/tc-net.html#tc-supporters
TC-SUPPORTERS is our second testicular cancer email support group. This list was intended to be a place where caregivers could talk apart from the patients. This usually works OK, but since the questions usually fall back into the medical realm, the conversations move over to TC-NET. This list usually has somewhere between 200 and 250 subscribers. Any topic related to testicular or extragonadal germ cell tumors is welcome, but questions and discussions about caring for (or dealing with) TC patients are the primary purpose for this list. In contrast to TC-NET, TC-SUPPORTERS usually only generates 10-15 emails a month.

MTA MobilityLink (Paratransit)
https://mta.maryland.gov/mobility

Where and when does MobilityLink operate? MobilityLink service is available within three quarters (¾) of a mile of any LocalLink route in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties and within three quarters (¾) of a mile radius of a Light RailLink or Metro SubwayLink station. This does not include MARC Train or Commuter Bus routes. MobilityLink is available on the same days and during the same hours as any LocalLink, Light RailLink or Metro SubwayLink 365 days a year.
How to Participate:
To qualify for MobilityLink service applicants must have an impairment that substantially limits their ability to independently access, board or ride other MTA services. If you think you qualify you should call the MobilityLink Certification office at 410-764-8181, select Option 6 to request an application or click here to download an application. Certification Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Be sure to read the directions before completing your part of the application and then send it to your health care provider to fill out. Be sure that your health care provider gives you the original signed application that includes their license number, then call for an appointment to be interviewed.

Volunteer Driver Programs
https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html/free_transportation_disabled.html
Find free rides and transportation for the disabled. Many non-profits as well as charities support low income individuals with a disability by given them a ride using volunteers from the community. Some of these groups range from Agency on Aging Centers to the Salvation Army. Note while usually a ride may be provided at no cost, some of the transportation that is arranged for the disabled may require a small fee from the client, or they “suggest” a minimal donation be made. Charities will call these Driver Programs different names. The Salvation Army may refer to them as Share a Ride while a faith based church often calls them emergency services. Another major contributor to this service tends to be the National Aging Network, and there are offices in most counties that help both the elderly and disabled. While senior citizens are a main focus, others can apply as well. The distances covered tend to be much smaller, but maybe a volunteer driver will bring a disabled person to a medical appointment. Or a trip to a meal site for the homebound, ride to a grocery store for shopping or pharmacy to pick up a medication for the disabled are other uses of the Volunteer Driver Programs.
